Taryn Haze is an alternative rock songwriter, guitarist, and multi-instrumentalist from Los Angeles, California, emerging as a compelling voice in modern emotional rock. Known for blending powerful lead guitar with raw, introspective songwriting, she channels personal struggles, growth, and lived experiences into melodic yet hard-hitting songs that connect deeply with listeners. Her debut EP, “Shattered” (released November 2025), marked the introduction of her solo project and artistic identity. Written during her time at Musicians Institute in Hollywood, the record captures a transformative period shaped by difficult friendships, emotional setbacks, and personal growth. Much of the material was created during late-night writing sessions, preserving the unfiltered raw emotion that defines the EP. “Shattered” features layered guitar textures, memorable hooks, and emotionally charged vocals, showcasing Haze’s distinctive playing style. Haze has built a strong presence across Southern California’s live music scene, performing at iconic venues including The Viper Room, Whisky a Go Go, Harvelle’s Santa Monica, The Mint, House of Blues Anaheim, and Chain Reaction. She has also collaborated internationally with acclaimed Japanese drummer Yoyoka Soma, contributing rhythm guitar arrangements to the single “Bang Away.” Her performance résumé includes appearances alongside artists such as Nita Strauss, Lita Ford, Nancy Wilson, and Sheila E. Influenced by artists such as the Deftones, The Warning, Pierce the Veil, Paramore, and Maggie Lindemann, Haze continues to refine a sound defined by honest emotion, dynamic guitar work, and powerful live performances.
